CASTING CALL: Safa’s Story

Safa’s Story San Diego County School Tour Show

This is a bullying prevention play to support children to grow cultural competence and allyship. The pay is competitive for daytime in-school work.

Applicant should be:

  • Ages 22-35 with a young look, as the role is a 5th grade boy

  • Available for evening and/or weekend rehearsals in October

  • Available for work Oct 24-Nov 18, M-F. Multiple shows in a day scheduled between 7am-3:30pm.

  • Good with children, motivated by education or social justice

  • Fully vaxxed and boosted

  • Have reliable transportation

  • Ideally a confident singer (choral singing only)

  • Due to the specifics of the storyline, race/ethnicity should be white, latinx, middle eastern, asian/pacific islander or non-black other or mixed race.
