Jessica Kim

CURRICULUM ADVISOR

Jessica Kim, ASW, (she/her/ella) is an advocate, speaker, and educator for domestic and international anti-trafficking initiatives, specializing in Commercial Sexual Exploitation (CSE) of youth and the immigrant populations for over a decade. She is a survivor of international and domestic sex trafficking, a Mexican immigrant, and a member of the California Child Welfare Council’s CSEC Action Team Advisory Board—a board specializing in improving policy and practice to support young people impacted by CSE (Commercial Sexual Exploitation) and their families. Jessica holds a master's in Social Work degree from San Diego State University and uses her knowledge and passion towards social justice to empower survivors and educate communities on prevention, education, and inclusion. Her experience in curriculum development has been critical in the prevention of trafficking within the San Diego region.
