Larry Scott
Larry Scott (he/him) was born in Canada and became both a Canadian and American citizen. He completed doctorate degrees in Counseling and Personnel Management and certifications in Planned Giving and Fundraising. During his career he and his associates raised about a third of a billion dollars for nonprofit enterprises. In San Diego, he has served on the boards of the Urban League, San Diego Ballet, and the San Diego Youth Symphony. Nationally, he has served on the Development Committee for the United States Supreme Court, volunteered with the United States Para Olympics, the Florida Special Olympics as state director of the state games, and became CEO & President of the National Association of Railway Passengers. Some of the institutions that he and/or his firm have assisted included: Northwestern University Medical School, the University of South Florida, Scripps Memorial Hospital and Scripps Health,and the Japanese longterm Care Center-Keiro. He is currently retired and spends time in his vineyard and olive grove, makes vine, and travels.
